Enza Zaden will soon open its demo greenhouse for tomatoes in The Netherlands in De Lier. Here, more than sixty tomato hybrids are grown; from cherry tomato to beef tomato and from snack tomato to the pink one.
It shows growers the yet existing Enza Zaden varieties as well as the latest ones. This will also be the place where growers and representatives can discuss the varieties with each other. The greenhouse is open for visits from the beginning of May until the end of September.
Apart from the growing facilities, this Enza Zaden demo greenhouse will also have an area where the picked tomatoes are displayed. It is the location to discuss with each other, to exchange knowledge and to show presentations. The Timing Taste concept of Enza Zaden will provide a firm basis for this. It has been developed to support the whole chain in knowledge and marketing of taste tomato varieties. At the right moment and for the right market.
Enza Zaden’s primary goal is to practically bring its tomato assortment to the attention, allowing relations to choose their varieties well based. Apart from that, the demo greenhouse is a meeting place for all players in the (international) tomato world. Enza Zaden will welcome growers, distributors, trade and retail here.
