Enza Zaden has some great products to show during the Fruit Logistica 2009.

Sweetgreen

Moreover, we have been nominated once more for the prestigious Fruit Logistica Innovation Award, for the second year in a row! Last year, Enza Zaden was nominated for the Wildcuc (Urgurke). This year, Sweetgreen, the world’s first green pepper with a sweet taste and a high vitamin C content is competing for this year’s most innovative product. This shows that Enza Zaden not only claims to be an innovative vegetable breeding company, but also proves to be one.

Other excellent products

Apart from Sweetgreen, several other Enza Zaden top products will be in he spotlights. In addition to the yet successful cocktail tomato varieties Sunstream ( Red Star Romantic ) and Campari ( Tasty Tom ), our new varieties Annamay and Atavico will be presented. Annamay is a small truss cocktail tomato which produces as easily as its competing varieties and which beats them when taste is concerned. Atavico is a typical Italian San Marzano tomato and pre-eminently suitable for the Italian cultivations and export. In the segment of the large truss tomatoes, we will present the new variety Torricelli , which will be abundantly available this season after its successful introduction in the Dutch agricultural industry.
